Courses later in the series assume that you have mastered the content of earlier courses.
The
Basics
course is designed for individuals who have never used Notes but who can:
· start and stop software applications in Microsoft® Windows™
· use Microsoft Windows Explorer to find and organize files
· create, format, and print documents using a graphical word processing software package.

Course Overview
This course guides you as you experience the most widely used Notes features. It does not, however, delve into the details of how Notes works, how to develop applications, or administer Notes servers.
The procedures in this course are clearly outlined in step-by-step tables. You may find, however, that some procedures leave you hanging in a dialog box for you to figure out yourself. Take this time to investigate all the options, and when you are done, be sure to close the dialog box before continuing.
Feel free to experiment as you learn to navigate through Notes. You may just find a faster way to transform the way you work!
