| This course focuses on the features and support of LAN-based and mobile Notes Clients. During this course you will configure Notes Mail to operate within and between Notes domains. The course also covers inter-organization security, including cross certification. A significant skill gained from this course is the ability to use the Administration Process to manage Notes Client changes. |

| Course Goals |
This course enables you to:
- configure and manage Notes Mail routing in single-Server, multi-Server, and multi-Domain environments
- securely route mail and replicate databases with other organizations
- build a secure firewall network to protect your internal Notes Domain
- configure a mobile Notes Client to use the Notes and Windows dialers
- use the Administration Process to manage user changes.

| Intended Audience |
This course is designed for Notes administrators who support Notes Clients and Notes Mail in their organization.
This course assumes that you have:
working knowledge of the Notes Domino Server, including Server and Notes Client installation and configuration
managed and replicated Notes databases in multi-Server environments
thorough understanding of the Notes security model
experience using Notes mail
experience installing and supporting Windows 95 and Windows NT.
The prerequisites for this course can be met through successful completion of the
System Management 1: Basic Services
